Carollyne Hutter—writing, editing, managing, marketing

Welcome to Hutterwriter.com. In high school, my friend Lina painted a wonderful mural of an illustrious tree. When I started my business as a communications specialist, I asked Lina to draw her festive tree again, which is at the top of the page, because it symbolizes my work in so many ways.

For over a decade, I have written, edited, and produced communications products focused on environmental, health, and international development issues. What better way to show my commitment to these issues than a strong, solid tree.

The tree with its whimsical rendering also symbolizes my creative writingfiction for children and adults and personal essays.

And with its branches reaching up to the sky, the tree represents my work helping clients with outreach and marketing, either through print, web-based, electronic, or audio-visual media.

The Grand Barrier Reef has always been a strong interest of mine. I am pleased to say AppleSeeds devoted an issue to the Great Barrier Reef. I wrote two article, which you can read here and here.

I would love to write a whole children’s book on the Great Barrier Reef or coral reefs in general, so if anyone knows of a publisher interested in these topics, please contact me.
